At The Wave Clinic in West Sussex, I offer clinical supervision for counsellors, psychotherapists, and trainees seeking a safe, reflective and supportive space to deepen their professional practice.
My approach is trauma-informed and humanistic, rooted in integrity, autonomy, respect, protection, curiosity, and compassion. I see supervision as a supportive, collaborative, and relational process — one that balances gentle challenge with encouragement for reflection, creativity, and confidence. Together, we can explore the complexities of your work while fostering your professional and personal growth.
My Theoretical Foundation
My training as a UKCP-registered and accredited Psychotherapist is underpinned by Transactional Analysis (TA), which provides a clear and insightful framework for upholding core values and principles of practice, and for understanding communication, relationships, and patterns of interaction — both within therapy and supervision. Alongside this, I draw on a range of integrative and humanistic perspectives, always maintaining an empathic, relational approach at the centre of my work, fostering curiosity and congruence.
A Safe and Reflective Space
My understanding of trauma, attachment, and developmental experiences informs the supervisory space I hold. I am mindful of how these dynamics can emerge in supervision, and I aim to create an environment where you can think freely, reflect deeply, and feel both supported and gently stretched in your professional growth.
Practicalities and Fees
Supervision is available face-to-face at my West Sussex practice or online via Zoom, offering flexibility and continuity of professional support.
Ethical Framework and Professional Standards
Supervision sessions for 60 minutes are offered within a professionally supervised training framework, in accordance with the ethical guidelines of UKATA, UKCP, and my BACP-accredited Supervision Diploma.
Although these sessions are currently offered at a reduced fee of £20.00, the same level of quality, integrity, and relational depth remains central to the work. Each session is held with the same care, attention, and ethical commitment that underpin all aspects of my practice.
My aim is to provide a reflective and supportive space that honours both the professional development and personal wellbeing of each supervisee, ensuring supervision remains a collaborative, safe, and ethically grounded process.
I offer an initial phone call or complimentary 30-minute consultation — an opportunity to explore your needs, discuss your hopes for supervision, and ensure the space feels right for you.
