SST is a psychotherapy approach designed to offer individuals immediate, cost-effective, solution-focused practical support and guidance within a single therapy session.  I offer SST as an extended 70-minute session, collaborating with you to prioritise and concentrate on a problematic issue in order to uncover a potential solution.

SST is a collaborative process tailored to your needs, during which we will work together to explore an emotional or behavioural problem. We will also examine your strengths and environmental resources while assisting you in developing practical insights, strategies, techniques, or coping mechanisms.

SST is not a replacement for long-term therapy; however, it offers an accessible, flexible, and time-efficient solution to help you gain clarity and direction where immediate relief is important.

At the end of your SST, you will have the option to choose whether you would like another session, a block of sessions, or ongoing therapy.  If we agree that you require more specialised assistance than I can provide at the conclusion of the session, I will help you find that assistance.
