Sam Cordery
About me
I offer a calm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard and where we can work collaboratively to explore the difficulties that have brought you to therapy. I believe we all benefit from the opportunity to better understand ourselves, our relationships, and how our experiences shape how we think, feel, and live.
I believe meaningful therapeutic change often begins within a trusting relationship, where you feel safe enough to explore your thoughts and emotions without fear of judgement. Therapy doesn’t have to be about finding immediate answers. It can be about having the space to pause, reflect, and feel truly heard, which can mark the beginning of meaningful change.
I don’t rush people, and I listen carefully before offering any thoughts. I have a longstanding interest in personal growth and self-development, and recognise that seeking therapy can be a significant step. Whether you are facing a particular challenge or feeling uncertain about where life is taking you, therapy offers an opportunity to pause, reflect, and begin to make sense of your experiences.
- Through my training and clinical work, I support people experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, life transitions, redundancy, health-related concerns, serious illness, bereavement, loss, and the impact of suicide.
- My aim is to work alongside you as you develop a deeper understanding of yourself, strengthen your resilience, and discover new ways of responding to life's challenges.
